Professor Tiwari starts by busting the old myths about off-campus colleges. “The days when North Campus, South Campus, and off-campus colleges were different in quality are long over,” he says.
Having been with Maharaja Agrasen College for 25 years, Professor Tiwari has seen the college become one of the top in India.
As per India Today and MDR survey, Maharaja Agrasen College is among the top 35 colleges in the country for arts, commerce, and science.
This is a reflection of the college’s performance and quality of education, from August 1994 when the college started with just two courses and about 180 students to today it has over 2,800 students on a vast campus with modern facilities.

Maharaja Agrasen College has 142 classrooms and labs, a modern auditorium with a seating capacity of over 700, conference halls, and a girls’ hostel with 62 seats.

Maharaja Agrasen College has a good reputation in journalism and has produced many renowned journalists who are doing well in their profession.
The college’s journalism course is top-rated and its students frequently appear on national TV channels.
Similarly BBA and Political Science Honors courses have consistently produced top performers, including gold medalists and university toppers.
