Current Admission Status
As of now, NCWEB has conducted admissions based on three cut-offs, followed by a special cut-off. So far, a total of 1,046 admissions have been confirmed. According to Professor Bhatt, “The response from Delhi-based students has been commendable, with significant participation in the admission process.”
Popular Courses and Seat Availability
NCWEB offers two primary undergraduate courses: BA Program and B.Com. Among these, the BA Program’s History and Political Science combination has proven to be the most popular. The general category seats for this combination have closed in 22 centers, but seats remain open in a few institutions, including:
- College of Vocational Studies, South Delhi
- Aryabhatta College, South Delhi
- Bhagini Nivedita College
- Aditi Mahavidyalaya
The reserved categories, including SC, ST, EWS, and PwD, still have seats available across multiple centers. For students interested in other BA combinations like Economics and Political Science, seats remain open in the general category at several institutions.

Admission Process and Deadlines
Students who meet the cut-off criteria have two days to apply for admissions. The fourth cut-off list is now available on both the Delhi University and NCWEB websites. Professor Bhatt encouraged eligible students to review the list and secure their admissions as soon as possible.
Regarding the B.Com course, seats are widely available across various centers. In contrast, colleges like Jesus and Mary College, Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, and Deen Dayal Upadhyay College in Dwarka have already closed admissions for the general category.
Academic Sessions and Classes

For students who successfully secure admission through this cut-off, classes are set to begin on September 21 and 22, 2024. The first day will focus on orientation programs and providing students with a comprehensive overview of the syllabus and college resources.
Placement Opportunities for NCWEB Students
In response to a query about placement opportunities for NCWEB students, Professor Bhatt highlighted the board’s ongoing efforts to connect students with potential employers. NCWEB has established collaborations with verified employers and companies. Students interested in employment opportunities can apply through online platforms and participate in interviews for selection.
Moreover, NCWEB has an ongoing MoU with ICT Academy to conduct workshops that will further enhance students’ skills. In October, a workshop will take place, followed by job opportunities provided by the academy through their portal.
Conclusion
The fourth cut-off list offers an opportunity for many students to secure their place in prestigious courses under NCWEB. Professor Bhatt emphasized the need for students to continuously upskill themselves and actively pursue available opportunities for both education and employment.
